Exterior Inspection
The home's exterior walls, siding, trim, and site drainage reviewed for visible concerns.
The exterior protects everything inside. We review the visible exterior wall coverings, trim, grading, and drainage around the home for conditions that could affect the structure or lead to moisture concerns.
The exterior is where a lot of long-term problems begin. Grading that slopes toward the foundation, trim that's pulling away, or siding with visible damage can all be early signs of moisture trouble. We walk the perimeter to review the visible exterior wall coverings, trim, and the way water moves — or should move — away from the home.
We also look at visible decks, porches, and railings for conditions worth noting. Like every part of a home inspection, this is a visual review of accessible components, not a structural engineering evaluation. When something needs a closer look, we'll say so clearly in the report.
